Lisa Bracken
Lisa Bracken is a Senior Manager at Skorheim & Associates, AAC. She is responsible for performing accounting and financial analyses on behalf of attorneys involved in litigation, including breach of contract, stockholders’ and partners disputes, profit participation disputes, projection of lost profits and diminished goodwill, business interruption, forensic accounting, and fraud.
Prior to Skorheim & Associates AAC, Ms. Bracken was a Senior Manager at Moss Adams, LLP, the tenth largest accounting firm in the United States. During her tenure at Moss Adams, LLP, Ms. Bracken focused her efforts in litigation services. Prior thereto, Ms. Bracken was a Controller at a highly profitable privately held high-tech company with sales in excess of $150 million. Ms. Bracken is experienced as an auditor of privately held companies in a variety of industries and possesses additional experience as a Manager of Taxation in a certified public accounting firm. Ms. Bracken has worked directly with Jim Skorheim for over fifteen years throughout her career.
Ms. Bracken has over 23 years of experience in public and private accounting encompassing a variety of industries including manufacturing, hardware and software, construction, health care, wholesale and distribution, real estate development and management, employee benefit plans, professional services, and not-for-profit organizations.
Ms. Bracken received her Masters degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in Accounting from the California State University, Long Beach. She is a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Valuation Analyst, a Certified Fraud Examiner, a Certified Forensic Accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Peggy Mauro
Peggy Mauro is a staff accountant for Skorheim & Associates, AAC in Laguna Niguel. Previously, Ms. Mauro was an Associate for six years for Moss Adams LLP, the largest accounting firm on the West Coast.
During her eighteen years working directly with Jim Skorheim, Ms. Mauro has performed a variety of services, including bookkeeping, accounting and auditing. Peggy has had extensive experience in property management accounting and has had several years of experience in tax planning and preparation services for privately-held companies.
Peggy’s focus for the last several years has been in the litigation services arena, where she works with a core group of professionals who assist counsel and their clients with forensic accounting, economic and financial analysis, business valuation and calculating financial losses. Peggy has extensive experience in all major industries including real estate, technology, retail, manufacturing, distribution, financial services, healthcare, insurance and apparel.

Jonathan M. Skorheim
Jon is a Certified Public Accountant. He joined the forensic accounting firm of Skorheim & Associates, AAC in Laguna Niguel after graduating from the University of the Pacific in Northern California in 2006. Jon obtained his BS Degree in Business Administration and hopes to enroll in law school after completing a three-year tenure in a fast-paced sophisticated forensic accounting and business valuation practice.
Jonathan's experience includes legal and business research and analysis; spreadsheet based financial analysis; accounting and bookkeeping services; commercial litigation documents and deposition reviews and business valuation support and research services.
Jon has served as a service team member for our clients in several major industries including real estate, healthcare, insurance, manufacturing, distribution, technology and financial services.
Jonathan is a member of the OCBF Golf Tournament Committee and a volunteer for the OC Marathon community organization. He is also a member of the California Society of CPAs and the Association of Business Trial Lawyers. He is also a Founding Fellow of the Orange County Bar Foundation Society of Fellows. Jon has assisted in the development of educational materials for the California Judicial Studies Program. Jon spends his free time golfing, fishing and snowboarding.
